In reaching his milestone, Abdul attended atleast 11 different park run venues with most completed at Suncoast Durban North and his favourite parkrun at the Umhlanga Promenade. His most challenging Parkrun was the Thousands Hills Trail Parkrun in the midlands. Abdul’s best time was 26 minutes, averaging just over 5 minutes per km which is incredible feat.
Despite running a fast pace, he also enjoys the social aspects like volunteering his services to marshal at park run as well as educate newcomers and encourage those who find the park run challenging.
