Checkstar Verulam Falcon’s Athletic Club is a community immersed organization choosing sport and family values as its medium.
We are community sensitive and a committed conduit to the development of society via social welfare programmes and education preparedness of learners towards the transformation of societies by creating opportunities. The schools vision of coding and robotics rooms is laudable and points to agile leadership to be relevant and in readiness for the Fourth industrial revolution.
We have a fabulous history with Verulam Secondary School for a quarter of a century.
Verulam Secondary School (VSS), synonymous with academic excellence for the past 70 years .
We have chosen to invest in education at a premier public institution as we believe our combined efforts will prepare fit for purpose learners to enter the economy at different levels towards altering societal deprivations
Deputy principal, Mrs N Govender, said, “The scope for ICT careers has grown exponentially. With our one computer lab, it meant that many eager pupils, hoping for careers in the ICT industry were unable to pursue subjects like IT and CAT at the FET level.”
